Alyssa Navarrette is a Native to Tucson, Arizona her father is from just outside Chihuahua Mexico and Mother from Tucson Arizona . She is a mother to 3 children and a husband. Alyssa is deeply rooted in the Sonoran Desert and is surrounded by women whom she has learned how use many native plants medicinally. Alyssa Started Milagros del Desierto where she makes teas, pomadas, tinctures and bath salts using all native plants. She has a certification in Ecology from Cornell University she writes a gardening column for the Patagonia Regional Times and teaches her children indigenous desert knowledge. She will be apart of the Development and Communications team and Admin Asst.
