Seed Lab Manager Allegra just spent a week at the end of February training as a Seed Analyst at the USFS National Seed Lab in Macon, GA. This lab tests seed for timber and native plant production nurseries around the country as well as some agricultural crops - there are lots of transferable technologies that we can’t wait to apply to our work in the Madrean Archipelago. Pictured are germination chambers, tetrazolium viability tests, seed storage, and more! Thank you to the USFS National Seed Lab and the BRN Fellowship Program for providing these training opportunities! Our BECY Institute is looking for Educational Facilitators. Check out the job description below and see if this is the right job for you! If you are interested, please provide a cover letter, your resume, your contact information, and three references to weaver.caleb@gmail.com. ![]()
