Debra Paterson's Biography

Debra Paterson is a retired 34 year veteran of financial services and former Executive Vice President and leader of Human Resources for Wells Fargo Banking with approximately 120,000 employees serving more than 22 million banking households, 6,600 banking stores, 12,300 ATMs, Customer Connection contact centers, wellsfargo.com, several product groups and distribution strategies.  Previously, she was the WF Banking president based in the Twin Cities managing $12 billion in assets, 2,000 employees and 98 branches.  Paterson’s career began in 1980 in Tucson, Arizona and has subsequently held positions in management, marketing, strategic planning, commercial lending and Learning and Development with Union Bank, First Interstate and Wells Fargo in Arizona, California and Minnesota.   She is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Pacific Coast Banking School. She has served on the boards of the San Francisco Zoological Society, Minnesota Animal Humane Society, Project for Pride in Living, Minnesota Opera, WomenVenture and the Pasadena Symphony.
