GRACE's Bio

Grace McGuire (she/her) is from Patagonia, AZ, and is excited to return to her hometown through her role as Education Support Coordinator at BRN. Grace participated in Borderlands Earth Care Youth (BECY) Patagonia summer programs during high school and worked as a BECY Nogales facilitator during the summer of 2018. 

She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2019 with a degree in Sustainable Built Environments, B.Sc. She has a background in commercial and community composting, landscape design, and circular economic development, and spent two years teaching ESL in an agricultural high school in Tokyo, Japan, where she grew an appreciation for cross-cultural exchange and outdoor education. 

Her passions include practicing yoga, hiking with her dog Winnie, and enjoying live music and conversation.
