JULIE's Bio

Since graduating from Prescott College with a BA in Environmental Education in 2014, Julie (she/her) has worked to connect the next generation of environmental stewards with wild lands. Julie’s background in ecology and love for the natural world are guiding her in her pursuit of a Master of Architecture degree at the University of Arizona.

As a Horticulture Technician Intern with Borderlands Nursery & Seed,  she is excited to deepen her sense of place in the Sky Islands ecoregion and learn much more about Southern Arizona’s native plant species. From this experience, Julie will gain new tools for promoting biodiversity and incorporating conservation into architectural design.
