Lycium pallidum or “pale wolfberry” is a drought tolerant shrub up to 6ft height in the tomato family found at 2,500-7,500 ft in full sun. White pendulum grouped flowers produce red fruits that are abundant food for birds and other wildlife. Our desert lyciums are relatives of the Goji Berry! The shrub flowers March-April and sets fruit by the end of May. Transplants well, reseeds readily.
