Jacqueline's bio

Jacqueline Mann is an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona pursuing a bachelor's degree in Natural Resources. She chose conservation biology as an emphasis because she would love to do work to benefit the world's ecosystems. Her main driver in pursuing this degree is becoming the change she would love to see, and participating in Borderlands Restoration Network allows her to do more of that.

 

So far, Jacqueline has contributed to the work done at Borderlands through seed collection, contributing to the native seed farm, seed cleaning, plant propagation, seed pellet creation, native plant retail, and general seed inventory work. She enjoys participating in the diverse facets of the Borderlands Native Plant Nursery and Seed Barn that come together to make such a positive impact on the surrounding communities and ecosystems. She hopes to expand her abilities in grant writing, native plant/seed identification, propagation, and collection throughout her time at Borderlands and looks forward to continuing to contribute to the efforts of BRN that are making such a positive impact on the planet.
