¿Eres nuevo en el senderismo? ¿Buscas aprender más sobre cómo planear una excursión? Acompaña a Xochitl en una platica de como planear y ejecutar una excursión adecuadamente, que empacar y cómo mantenerte a salvo mientras recorremos 2 millas (3 km) el Arizona National Scenic Trail. ¡Todas las edades son bienvenidas! Este evento es para principiantes y no se requiere experiencia!
La caminata se llevará a cabo a lo largo del Cañón de Little Casa Blanca y el Arizona Trail en Patagonia. La ubicación exacta se compartirá después de su registración.

Join Borderlands Restoration Network on Saturday, May 9 from 7–9 AM for a guided hike with our Environmental Field Educator, Karla Hernandez!
Come experience the incredible biodiversity of the Madrean Archipelago, also known as the Sky Islands, where desert, grassland, and forest meet to support rare wildlife and unique ecosystems. Learn how these natural systems function and why they matter, and leave with a deeper understanding of how we can all play a role in protecting this remarkable landscape.
Hike will take place within the Borderlands Wildlife Preserve in Patagonia. Exact meetup location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, so sign up early!

Native Seed Collection Workshop
October 17: 9 AM - 3 PM

Join us for a tour of the BRN Seed Lab to learn about our operations and programs, then head out to the beautiful San Rafael Valley to learn about native grasses and our ethical seed collection protocols.
Participants will help collect seeds that will be used in a local ecological restoration project to mitigate erosion and revegetate the landscape to support healthy habitats.
