JADE's Bio

Jade Snowhook (they/them) has been a Watershed Restoration Technician at Borderlands Restoration Network since 2025. Their work includes building erosion control structures in seasonally dry waterways in the mountains surrounding Patagonia, surveying for potential work sites, removing invasive species, and monitoring at the Borderlands Wildlife Preserve.

Jade is a graduate of Cal Poly Humboldt with a degree in Environmental Science and Management. Originally from LA, Jade found that the city was not for them and found their way to small rural towns in Arcata California, Coal Creek Canyon Colorado and now calls Patagonia home. Before working at BRN they worked seasonally doing forest health surveying and invasive plant mapping. Jade loves reading, drawing, and anything involving the outdoors like hiking, biking and camping. Their two kitties, adopted as local strays, bring them endless joy and cuddles.
