RYAN's Bio

Ryan Golb has been a Restoration Specialist at Borderlands Restoration Network since 2025. His work is focused on surveying geomorphology of ephemeral drainages, erosion control structure implementation, environmental monitoring, and revegetation efforts.

 

Ryan is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Geography with a concentration in physical geography. Originally from Portland, Oregon Ryan has enjoyed recreating and working in many different landscapes across the western United States and northern Mexico. Prior to working at BRN Ryan has worked for other environmental non-profits and businesses as a Natural Resource Specialist, field technician, farm hand, and drone pilot. He currently resides in Patagonia, Arizona and enjoys biking and camping in the local mountain ranges that make up the Sky Islands of the Madrean Archipelago.
