Join the Watershed Restoration Program crew for a hands-on day of rock structure building on public or private land. Learn the basics of how to construct several types of erosion control structures and how each structure serves a different purpose. Follow the path of water through the landscape and learn to read how the landscape may change over time with or without the placement of structures. Learn from the Watershed Restoration Program to understand the impacts of cattle, people, and vehicles on the landscape and why it is important to engage in the work of watershed restoration.
