In the borderlands, resilience is everywhere. It's in the way desert plants spring back to life after a summer monsoon. It's in the wings of migratory birds that return year after year, defying all odds. And it's in the people and communities who come together to restore and protect this extraordinarily biodiverse region we call home.

At Borderlands Restoration Network, we see that resilience in action every day, and it's because of you.

2025 has been a year of growth and perseverance. We've worked hard to create a more stable and sustainable organization by strengthening our foundation for the future. Thanks to the dedication of our staff, partners, and supporters like you, we've built up our operational reserves and created an endowment fund for land conservation. This ensures we can weather uncertainty and continue restoring the lands and watersheds that sustain our region.

And there's even more to celebrate: through our fundraising for the Borderlands Wildlife Preserve Stewardship Fund, we're on track to achieve full ownership of the Preserve next year. This milestone will allow us to protect and care for this vital habitat in perpetuity.

These accomplishments didn't come easily. 2025 began on rocky ground, not just for us but for nonprofits across the country. When federal funding froze and the economy wavered, you stood with us. You wrote letters, contacted your representatives, donated, volunteered, attended events, and shared our story. Your belief in our mission kept us moving forward.
