BORDERLANDS EARTH CARE CENTER

In 2023, we started developing the Borderlands Earth Care Center (BECC) on the 19-acre property previously occupied by the Deep Dirt Permaculture Institute. This center will be open to the local Patagonia community and visiting groups from the Sky Islands region and beyond. It will serve as a platform to demonstrate our applied curriculum through workshops and hands-on activities. 

 

BECC is being designed with input from the community and stakeholders. Our goal is to create a hub for sharing restoration knowledge and fostering community engagement. We aim to instill a sense of earth care, people care, and fair share in our visitors, equipping them with technical skills and interpersonal connections to garner ongoing community support.
