RoHAN's Bio

Rohan Sorta (he/they) has spent most of his life in western New York within ten miles of Lake Ontario. In 2020, Rohan and their now wife, Ash, came to Patagonia through a work trade program for organic farming. Through that program, they both returned in 2021 and decided to make Patagonia home. Coming from somewhere with an abundance of water to the Sky Islands region fostered a passion in Rohan to understand how this area survives and flourishes. From 2021 to 2023, Rohan has had their hands in the dirt and rocks learning and striving to make a difference.

Rohan is joined BRN as a watershed restoration technician and enjoys camping, hiking, reading, and spending time with his wife and their cat, Edgar Acupuncture Poe.
